Motor Trend Magazine recently completed an excellent write up and video of a comparison between a C7, F12, and 911. I find this fascinating for a number of reasons. First of all, look at the pricing. The 911 is over twice the price of the 2014 Corvette Stingray and the Ferrari F12 is over 6 times the price of the new Corvette.
That being said, I can’t imagine any other comparison test in the world that would exist with this price difference – and that is testament to the quality of the new Corvette C7. Imagine a price comparison of housing with this discrepancy. It would be like comparing a nice cottage with a suburban mcmansion and a house in Beverly Hills except somehow the cottage also had an insane amount of square feet, a subzero fridge, and a butler.
What we like best about the C7 Corvette is we are starting out with a state of the art platform and performance. With some relatively inexpensive modifications Pfadt Racing will be able to deliver supercar performance and power for your new corvette and you will still have enough money in your pocket to put a downpayment on that cottage you have your eyes on – plus you will be able to get there even faster.
Here’s a breakdown of the numbers on these 3 cars. We look forward to testing the Pfadt P58 package and we will release those numbers as soon as they become available.
